OUR MISSIONAt our core, we’re just two people with a genuine love for plants.
As our own journey into plant ownership grew, we started to notice something deeper: plants have a way of slowing you down in the best way. Plants seek out patience, attention, and care, and then in return, they bring a sense of calm, connection, and joy. Vinyl Vines Plant Co. exists to share that feeling with you.
We believe in creating space, both physically and mentally, to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the process of growth. Whether you’re caring for your first plant or your fiftieth plant, we’re here to support you.
MEET THE OWNERS
Hi, we’re Karli and Jacob, the owners behind Vinyl Vines Plant Co.
Plants came into our lives gradually and what started as a few pieces to elevate our space turned into something much bigger.
A few organic gardening classes deepened Karli’s appreciation, but it wasn’t until a visit with close friends in Chicago that everything clicked.
Seeing their friends’ plants, some thriving, some just starting from seed, sparked something and not long after, Jacob came home with multiple seed packets, and the journey really began.
Now, our plant room feels like an exhale. It’s a place to unwind, reset, and reconnect. That feeling is what inspired us to bring Vinyl Vines to life and share it with the Appleton community and beyond.
Why “Vinyl Vines”?
We get this question a lot. Alongside our love for plants, we share a deep appreciation for music, especially vinyl. It’s become a bit of a running joke: do we have more plants or more records? (Honestly, it’s pretty even.)
Just like caring for plants, listening to vinyl invites you to slow down, to choose something intentionally, and to be present.
There’s something grounding about pulling out a record, dusting it off, dropping the needle, and letting it play.
Vinyl Vines is built on that same idea: slowing down, being intentional, and enjoying the process.
